Some couples dream of an intimate elopement in the great outdoors. Others can’t imagine celebrating without all their nearest and dearest around them. Our couple? They wanted both - so we made it happen! After their full wedding day, Andy & Chânelle slipped back into their wedding outfits for a breathtaking post-wedding elopement shoot in the Welsh countryside, proving you really can have your wedding cake and eat it too!
Nestled just outside Dolgellau, Llynnau Cregennen is one of Snowdonia’s most magical hidden gems. Rugged mountains, still waters, and a landscape that changes with the light - it’s the most perfect setting for an intimate, romantic photoshoot.

As the golden hour sun dipped beneath the peaks we captured some gorgeous frames on both digital and 35mm film. Oh, and did we mention we had a third wheel?! The wind was truly a paid actor that day. It was relentless, throwing Chânelle’s veil around like it had its own agenda - but it made for some truly epic, cinematic moments!

Wedding Photography on 35mm Film
For this session, we shot on both digital and 35mm film. There’s a certain je ne sais quoi about analogue photos that just hits differently - the texture, the tones, the way film captures light. It’s raw, real, and timeless. Check out the gallery below!
Because we love film so much, we want to sing about it from the rooftops! That’s why we now include a roll of black & white 35mm film as standard with every full-day wedding booking - a little taster that adds another dimension to your overall gallery (you can also choose to add more film rolls if you want to).
Post-Wedding Celebration Pizza
One of our favourite things about what we do is the people we meet. We don’t just turn up, take photos, and leave. We get to know our couples and, by the time the wedding is over, we often feel like old friends. So, with a shared love (okay, obsession) with pizza, it only made sense to finish this incredible shoot with a visit to Mawddach Pizza - a hidden gem of a restaurant with some of the best wood-fired pizzas in Wales.
This is what we love about our job, it’s not just about the photographs. It’s about connection.
